Lalig Musserian, Principal of Agile Collaborative

Lalig Musserian is Principal at the Musserian Consulting Group, where she helps clients with Agile transformations, including multi-level governance and methodology establishment, Scrum and Product Owner training and certification and Agile coaching.  Lalig is a PMI certified (PMP) Project Manager, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) and SAFe Agilist with certification in Scaled Agile Framework for Lean Enterprises. 

She has extensive experience leading complex technology and business projects, managing development teams, and designing product platforms in collaboration with business and technical partners in a variety of industries.  Lalig is a Pegaysystems Certified System Architect (CSA) and Certified Direct Capture of Objectives Architect (CDA).  She is an adjunct Professor at Boston College, where she teaches the Agile Methodologies course, as well as the Applied Software: Tools and Techniques course.  She has been a guest speaker at Northeastern University, PMI, Mass. Department of Employment and Training, NECON, North Shore APICS, and NERT and other venues.  She has also worked on projects in India, London, South Korea, Brazil, and France.  

Lalig is a former President and Executive Vice President of  PMI MassBay.  She has demonstrated strength in design, development, and execution of project and organizational governance and methodologies.  She has also held leadership positions in several non-profit organizations as a volunteer.

Previous Experience:

Lalig worked for 2 years as Senior Program Manager, Governance and Methodology at Pegasystems in Cambridge, Mass. In that role, Lalig developed a Minimum Lovable Product (MLP) course for Pega Academy, co-authored a book regarding project management processes, called Delivery @ Pega and Developed Governance and Methodology frameworks for delivering Pega projects. Lalig also wrote content for Pega’s Rapid Delivery website and developed and delivered multiple Global Partners’ and internal-facing Webinars and other training to support Pega clients and Pega teams on key topics such as Scrum, Change Management, Risk Management, and project Rapid Delivery.  She also presented Rapid Delivery at the Sales Kickoff in Orlando, Florida and also at Pega World in Las Vegas. 

Prior to Pega, Lalig was an Associate Principal Consultant and Lead Program Manager at Magenic Technologies in Waltham, Mass. During her 5 years with Magenic, Lalig was responsible for running large complex projects and driving her onshore and off-shore teams to deliver customized technology solutions. 

In that capacity, she managed a Mobile Application project for Android and iOS for a large insurance company.  She also managed a $2M+ project for a global company based in Wellesley, MA and delivered a $2M + SharePoint Online and Azure-hosted Intranet and Extranet projects with 40+ team, for largest Massachusetts employer. She managed the IT merger/ integration of a multi-million-dollar company in Maine and delivered an interactive public-facing website to facilitate employee and client communication following acquisition for a large investor services company in Mass.
